Demon Slayer Season 2 Announcement and Release date!

The announcement of the "Demon Slayer Season 2 " was made in an online festival event which was held to celebrate the second anniversary of demon slayer. Later the official account of "Demon Slayer '' made a tweet with new key visual making the announcement of the second season. 

According to 'anime news network', (Haruo Sotozaki) is returning to Ufotable to direct the anime and (Akira matsushima) is again designing the characters and the second season of Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) will be coming in 2021 although there is currently no update on exact date.

Ufotable is doing the animation for the second season who previously produced the first season and the movie of Demon slayer. 

While the first season had 26 episodes, currently there is no information about the number of episodes that the second season will have. Any update in this region will be updated as soon as it gets confirmed through official sources.

The Trailer for the second season has been released by the official source on Youtube and is currently region locked, although it may get available world wide in a few hours or in a few days.

The first season premiered in summer 2019 so the second season can also be assumed to release in summer 2021 or in the early winters.

DEMON SLAYER SEASON 2 PLOT…

The story for Demon Slayer season 2 will be a direct continuation from the ‘Mugen Train’ movie, which itself picks up from the season 1 finale.

As the anime is a direct adaptation of the original manga series, we can confidently predict the plot for season 2.

However, there is nothing worse than spoilers, so you can read the hit manga series for yourself.

DEMON SLAYER MOVIE…

The anime movie, titled ‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Train Arc’ premiered in Japan on October 16th, 2020.

Since then, the film has broken countless records, including the highest-grossing film of all time in Japan, best opening day weekend in Japanese film history and has become the 4th highest-grossing movie of 2020.

The movie will release in selected theatres across North America, Australia and New Zealand in early-2021 – you can read more on the English release here.

Trailer breakdown...

The trailer begins eerily enough with still shots of a home before a woman is shown in lavish makeup. The character is as beautiful as they are sinister, so you can expect some surprising demons to appear in this new season. 

As the clip continues, Demon Slayer fans are told season two will focus on the Entertainment District arc, and Zenitsu is ready for the mission.

First, it must be noted that Inosuke appears in this teaser, and he is ready to throw hands with any demon. The expansive entertainment district is filled with greedy monsters, and they do not mind praying on the weak. 

It falls to Tanjiro and his crew to take on the threat following their involvement with the Mugen Train arc. And of course, the swordsmen have some new moves to help them complete that mission.
