Introduction / Plot

Set in Akihabara, Japan in the year 2010. Steins;Gate recounts the tale of self-announced crazy lab scientist Rintarou Okabe. Along with his kindred lab-members, Mayuri Shiina, his cherished companion and Hashida Itaru a debased programmer nicknamed Daru. They hang out, developing contraptions in an old leased loft room. Their most recent one being the 'Telephone Microwave' which can change over bananas into a green gel like substance.

In a little while, Okabe understands that the Phone Microwave can send messages to the past, changing the progression of history. As the writings unwind time, he finds two additional things. One, that he has a capacity called Reading Steiner which permits him to hold his recollections of memories while crossing courses of events. Furthermore, two, that a mysterious association named SERN has additionally found time travel and are resolved to chase him down.
